If not, that would be the reason. But if you made a gradual change, perhaps your beagle just doesn't tolerate Wellness for whatever reason. I tried switching my greyhounds to it a couple of years ago (and I did it very slowly) and none of them tolerated it. So I changed them to Innova and they did great on that one.
