Posted on March 6th, 2010 by admin

Beauty is the charm and magnetism in a person which give an individual a feeling of happiness and contentment. It is the mixture of perfect features with a perfect face-cut that makes a person attractive. A beautiful individual is fashionable and respected. Beauty is a real reward of God, for which we must often thank the almighty. An individual is said to be perfectly beautiful if he/she is beautiful from inside and outside, meaning the outer pretty and lovely looks are not enough you need to be pretty from within, you should have a clean and lovely heart along with a good face. There are certain other things that sum up to your attractiveness like your charm, elegance, beam motion, intelligence, character and style along with a healthy body, charming youth, skin and perfect symmetry. All these things with a clean heart which holds warmth for others is considered to be a truly wonderful human. An individual with all the above reported features makes him truly beautiful. Your behavior basically is what makes you wonderful. It is usually said that “the first impression is the last impressionâ€? which is true for outer beauty too, but then again it is a sensible saying that “all that glitters is not goldâ€? now even this contradicts to what is said earlier. Anyways, thousands of individuals have thousand statements towards the gist of beauty every one different and right to their viewpoint. But finally what goes with all this is “beauty lies in the eyes of the beholderâ€?. To be sensible enough, the outer beauty is most chiefly appreciated; it is soon after that we come to know the inner character of that externally beautiful person. As already mentioned, the outer perfection with a beautiful face is a perfect beauty which distributes a large amount of profits in this materialistic society. Right from the early days where a lovely and a good-looking child is loved and liked, then during the school days, wonderful pupils get a unique approach from teachers comparatively and obviously in college it is every time a beautiful human that pulls the crowd. Now when you are in 30’s and 40’s, your charisma still impresses the crowd, you are still seen upon when in high class parties. It is naturally a real boon to be born beautiful. Some people are born beautiful while others can look wonderful with the help of a wide variety of make-up tips available to improve each and every aspect of your face. A female particularly should look beautiful as beauty creates a woman’s will power and adds glamour to a man’s life. A beautiful lady tends to get greater consideration and care from the male governing world. Make-up makes a female look pretty and feel better. Make-up is made for woman and she truly adores doing make-up, but if you truly wish to look a absolute wonderful female it is necessary that you understand the vital fundamentals of make-up and do it perfectly well. You can create a radiant and lustrous skin by applying a mixture of right colors and cosmetics that help\assist you coat and hide any unevenness in your facial skin. This will also increase your standard and you will feel more positive when you are anywhere out among a large crowd where beauty creates an impression. Women and girls love to do make-up and it their basic wish to look gorgeous and as it is truly said “A woman without make-up is like food without saltâ€?. There is a great\strong feeling of contenment after an ideal make-up, you can conceal the flawsmistakes and roughness on your face, and you can highlight your features with perfect strokes of make-up. All this and [a lot more can be done with make-up. To wind up in a sentence, a perfect make-up improves your personality and greatly builds your confidence. Consider Beauty

Posted on March 5th, 2010 by admin

“Let the beauty you love be what you do,” is one of my favorite quotes by Rumi.

It is also an invitation to a powerful and transformative way of being and doing. Whether it is the way you make your bed or prepare a meal, doing whatever you do from the energy and spirit of beauty is a transformational practice.

Consider “beauty” as a practice for your business. Whether it is your business vision, the physical space of your business, the ways you connect with clients or how you market, calling upon the energy and spirit of beauty will transform both you as a business leader and your business itself.

Beauty inspires. Inspiration – whose origin is “in Spirit” – is an energy source and wisdom that flows from within. Inspired ideas and actions carry their own natural energy and always move you toward successful outcomes.

Beauty nourishes and gives pleasure to the mind, body and soul. Imagine what it would be like if your business and business activities nourished and brought you pleasure. Practice and surround yourself with beauty as a way of doing business, and this will become your reality.

Beauty attracts and charms. The practice of beauty naturally makes you more magnetic and your services or products attractive to clients.

Excellence, artistry, truth and originality are attributes of beauty. They are also elements of authentic, successful and sustainable businesses and business brands.

Other attributes of beauty are grace, harmony and order. These bring ease and flow into the business mix.

Here are a few basic business beauty suggestions:

Clear your desk every day before your business day is over. Keep fresh flowers or buy something beautiful for an area of your office that you see frequently during the day. Dress and groom yourself each day in a way that you feel beautiful – even if you never see a client. Do one task at a time. Have a place for everything and return everything to its place. Practice being present with you, in every interaction and with whatever you are doing. Slow down and breathe regularly through the day. Choose excellence and artistry in your work. (Perfectionism is neither about excellence nor beauty; give it up. :-) ) Meditate or contemplate beauty in your business regularly. Play beautiful and inspiring music in the background while you work.

Consider Beauty. There are countless ways to bring the spirit and energy of beauty into your business. Practicing beauty is good for the soul and good for business.

Step Into Your Greatness…
Make beauty a business practice.

What Is Beauty?

Posted on March 3rd, 2010 by admin

In these days, a growing number of people, especially the women, pay more and more attention to their appearance. Every year, they will spend a large sum of money on beauty products.

Nowadays, the characterization of a person as “beautiful” is more based on outer beauty, which includes physical factors. Inner beauty is placed after outer beauty. If you have a good-looking face, sexy figure and beautiful clothing, you may be labeled “beauty”. In these days, the beautiful persons are always the focus of the crowed and get more chances. Therefore more and more people are willing to spend money and time to make themselves more beautiful. This is the reason why in these days beauty products are so popular.

Many people hold a critical view on today’s common beauty standard. They argue that beauty should be the combination of all the qualities of a person that delight the senses and please the mind. The inner beauty should be placed on the first.

Now there are so many beauty contests and media establishment of beauty, which make the public lose sight of their own personal definitions of beauty. Furthermore, there are so many ads on beauty products which offer the standard of beauty. In such circumstance, people get lost about beauty.

Some people think that it is unnecessary to spend a large sum of money to buy beauty products and devote much time in beauty salon. They say the feeling of beauty comes from a sense of happy and health.

In fact, we should make positive change to the standard of beauty. It is true that everyone wants a good-looking face and sexy figure; however, there are a lot of things that we can do to be happy and healthy and to offer the standard of beauty for ourselves.

The Transcendental Perfection: Beauty

Posted on March 1st, 2010 by admin

Beauty is also known as pulcrum. It is a transcendental perfection, which results from esse or the act of being. There are different degrees of being, the vegetative life (plants), the sentient life (animals) and the rational life (human persons); beauty’s variety and richness depends on the different degrees of being.

Beauty has different levels depending on the subject from which it transcends; intelligible beauty directly is attached to the spiritual life and the sense perceptible beauty is applied to things, which attracts our sense, especially our hearing and seeing.

There are different types too, natural beauty which comes from the nature of beings, therefore we can say a woman is beautiful naturally in her femininity and rationality; and artificially when she starts further enhancing her beauty through make-up, dressing and exercise, and a painting is artificially beautiful in so far as it is painted artificially by human hands.

The Unity Of Beauty And Goodness

A special type of goodness is beauty because it gives rise to a special delight by simply being known. The sensible appetite comes into play when it feels the aesthetic appreciation and delight. It is the contemplation of the beauty of the object not on its possession. Beauty is pleasing to the will or sense appetites simply by being known by the senses or the intellect.

The Foundation Of Beauty Lies In Perfection

The foundation of beauty lies in the perfection of the desired object; things are pleasing because they are beautiful. Therefore whether or not there are men or women who are capable of appreciating a beauty, the perfection still resides in the object and thus beautiful. This perfection is from the act of being, the fullness, and absolute Beauty.

Perfecting Beauty In Its Fullest Sense

The foundation of beauty is the absolute. Beauty, the act of being, and we can say things are beautiful in so far as they already possess perfection. However this is not the only aspect of beauty. A created being can only reach the fullness of the beauty if it possesses the perfection of its very nature. An example of this is a woman can only be truly beautiful in her being a woman, in her finest feminine nature.

There are three basic features of beauty:

There should be harmony and proportion in the object and subject itself and to its surroundings. The combination of clothes must be in accordance with the occasion and personality type. To further enhance one’s perfection, she is properly made up not excessively but appropriately, she is pleasing to the sight and thus we can say the person is attractive. Integrity and completeness of the object is another element to consider in its substantial and accidental form. A beautiful thing is considered when it is complete up to the last detail. The beauty of the Mozart Cantata is an example of a work of beauty of integrity and completeness.

Another element is clarity, both in the material and the spiritual. In case of systematic knowledge, clarity is seen in its intelligibility, truth and being. In case of the sense of hearing, the arrangement of the melody that makes the music pleasant. In the case of sight, light, limpidity and brightness are taken into consideration; a painting is characterized by clarity if there is light, limpidity, and brightness.

Beauty – How to Succeed

Posted on February 26th, 2010 by admin

Overview

The concept of Beauty can refer to a particular person, a special place, an object of interest or even the concept of an idea, all of which can provide a perceptual experience related to pleasure, meaning or satisfaction.

The study of beauty is intrinsically a part of aesthetics, sociology, social psychology and culture. In the form of a cultural creation, beauty has become extremely commercialised.

The characterisation of an “ideal beauty” is represented in a person who is admired, or possesses features widely associated with beauty in a particular culture. There are many historical figures that have come to personify beauty itself, such as Cleopatra, Helen of Troy, and Marilyn Monroe. The subjective experience, which refers to the sensory buzz and awareness associated with a perceptive mind, related to “beauty”, often involves the interpretation of some entity as being as one and in harmony with nature, which may lead to feelings of attraction and emotional well-being.

Beauty, as expressed by the popular saying, is in the eye of the beholder. In its most profound sense, beauty may engender a salient experience, which refers to a state or quality of standing out relative to neighboring objects, of positive reflection about the meaning of one’s own existence. Something that reveals or resounds with personal meaning may indeed be regarded as an object of beauty.

In classical Greek mythology, beauty was associated with the idea of “being of one’s hour”. Accordingly, a ripe fruit, which is “of its time”, was considered beautiful, whereas a young woman trying to appear older or an older woman trying to appear younger would not be considered beautiful.

History of Beauty

It was in the submissions of the ancient Greek philosophers, such as Pythagoras, that the earliest Western appreciation of beauty was to be found. The school, personified by Pythagoras, discovered that there was a strong connection between mathematics and beauty.

In particular, they noted that objects proportioned according to the golden rule, which can be expressed as a mathematical constant with a value of 1.618, seemed more attractive. In fact, this view of symmetrical structures that were in proportion is based on ancient Greek architecture.

It has been found that people whose facial features are symmetric and proportioned, in accordance with the golden ratio, are considered more attractive than those whose faces are not. Another important factor is that of symmetry since it suggests the absence of any hereditary or acquired defects. In fact, one of a number of aesthetic characteristics, including being average and that of youth, which are associated with the health, physical attractiveness and, ultimately, the beauty of a person, is associated with the concept of symmetry, especially that of facial features.

Even though there may be significant changes in image and fashion, it has been found that people’s interpretation of beauty may be defined in a number of ways. In this respect, eyes that are large and a complexion that is soft and clear, are especially desirable. Further, such features are most certainly considered beautiful, irrespective of gender, and certainly regardless of culture.

Interestingly, the features of a newborn baby are inherently attractive, and youthfulness is a timeless characteristic that is always associated with beauty. Early in child development, there is evidence to suggest that an affinity for beautiful faces emerges, and this definition of attractiveness is regardless of their gender or culture.

The Beauty of Art

Posted on February 24th, 2010 by admin

 Art for Arts Sake?

Dear reader, before i begin my tirade of self assured blathering i would ask you to hold this question in your mind before you let your eyes scan further across the pre-mentioned text. What is Beauty? By which i mean what is it to you personally and also what is it to society? How do we view and value it?

Beauty for no sake except its own is the only form worth pursuing, when beauty has a dual purpose it detracts form itself, let me explain further as i realize i have launched into my thoughts without taking the time to go into detail. If a beautiful object such as a painting or sculpture or a fine building has a primary or secondary function other than to be beautiful it ceases to be so, and thus falls into the well worn trap of being merely practical.

Many people suppose that all beauty can have a purpose, A flower is comely to attract bees, as is a female to attract males at first glance it would well seem that every natural beauty has a purpose or a side agenda which was in place firstly thus leading to the need for a form of beauty, and so mankind emulates his perceived surroundings and assigns all beauty a sub-task for which its beauty is just the mode of delivery for its purpose or job. If this is deemed to be true then beauty must have no value in itself and therefore cannot truly be beautiful. Man finds it almost impossible to create something of beauty without attaching to it a subtle meaning or silent message. The human race feels lost and shudders to think of a purposeless universe twirling and pulsating in all its perfect majesty for no other reason than IT IS. A good example is Mona Lisa’s smile by which i mean the painting not the much later but also very brilliant movie, Back to the painting of the Mona Lisa, most of us rather than look upon it and say to ourselves she is as she is, we look for a hidden meaning in that most beautiful smile, a hint of sadness? a glint of buried despair perhaps?

Mans natural love of creating beauty is governed and oppressed by this need for functionality, a grand cathedral cannot be built for its own sake, it must always be in homage to a god or gods or idol, we view the beauty of women as the same in homage to another whether man or woman but hardly ever for its own sake. Monuments of old are scrutinized until a reason, any reason is found for the creation of something of beauty for why would man create beauty unless it had a hidden meaning? was symbolic? a purpose? and so man has limited itself to what it can create it has to represent an existing symbol, theology, mode of thought, house of power or cultural identity.

when will man ever create beauty for only itself to be beautiful free from the mental block and conditioning, to put the depths and intricacies of our minds and souls into physical matter without the constraint of needing to represent or be symbolic or give a message. We have sadly lost many fantastic and sublime minds to this mode of thought for example Bernini the great sculptor himself who most agree is a maker of beauty and pure emotion translated into delicate marble was still for all his skill restricted by this when he began a work he always started with a theme or thought such as pain, anguish, ecstasy, or a person or event, but never did he simply start with one word to guide his hand, beauty, his works are alas only a shadow of his emotional strength they are the hollow shell of the beauty he could have produced if free within himself, it is the same for many young women today in a different sense but no less true.

Many misguided young women nowadays shape there beauty to societies current perceptions of it or to the opposite sexes proscribed ideas about modern beauty sadly almost never does she view it through her own self effectively becoming a mere social mirror again a brief fluttering reflection in the flickering lights of what her true beauty is. Many advocate isolation to obtain a true understanding and eye for beauty, there is great value in this as being isolated you have no need of mirroring or projecting the thoughts of others such as the media or the fashion houses into your concepts this is why many monks and saints favoured hermitage it was much easier they found to connect with the pure spiritual beauty of god free from  expectations or dogmatic notions.

All great people who create beauty have no sub task for example. Two women Cleopatra and Marilyn Monroe, Cleopatra who is know to have been in spirit and body very beautiful is often viewed as ugly and immoral due to the fact that she used her beauty as a mere political tool, while Marilyn Monroe who once proclaimed she didn’t wish to be rich or famous just wonderful is for all her imperfections and so called dubious morals viewed as almost saint like as beauty personified. Showing that the only way to create something truly beautiful is to set out to do that and nothing but.

Anything else is a pointless endeavour a waste of many a magnificent mind and always ends in failure by being a shadow of what it could be. Let us embrace beauty for what it is there would be no limit to what wonders we could achieve.

Thank you for taking the time to wade through this article any comments whether for or against would be most welcome.
