Who runs and manages Gym/Club House in high-end housing complex and how they recruit people? Can somebody help?

Posted on December 19th, 2009 by admin

I am a qualified and practising Physiotherapist presently working with Wellness industry. Besides this I am also attending a Hospital as Visiting Physiotherapist. I am keen to get involved in projects like Club House/Gym/Spa etc. in the high-end Building Complexes right from the intial days. I just wonder is there any such agency who can give me a break for such assignments ??

I believe most large companies, such as Equity Residential, will hire someone specifically for a position in the Gym. I would recommend checking the career opportunities listed by the large management companies for positions like this and looking at the job description. For Equity Residential, to get you started, you can find their career opportunities at: www.equityapartments.com and then click on careers. (I work for the company)

Take into consideration that, you may not be able to practice your physiotherapy due to liability issues. This is something you would definitely want to discuss with the company you are interested in.

How do I get back to a good stable mental wellness?

Posted on December 9th, 2009 by admin

I’m 19 I let the pressures of success get to me last year and been struggling to get back to how I was before I got ill? I’m trying to get my mind right to achieve my goals and dreams. How do I get back to a good stable mental Wellness.

I am not a doctor but I would say that getting your physical health at it’s optimum would be a great start as you work on your mental issues. They go hand in hand.

Take a look at tis product: Genetically guided nutrition

Also: One way to minimize your own problems is to focus on others less fortunate. Volunteer and donate your time to a local organization who’s mission "speaks" to you!

Go gettum"

Why are taxpayer funds being used to buy massages?

Posted on December 4th, 2009 by admin

The District’s Office of Unified Communications used its government-issued charge card to buy $900 worth of massages for its staff, an expense even Mayor Adrian Fenty deemed inappropriate.

The massages were charged to an OUC purchase card on Oct. 25 and listed under "Spas – Health & Beauty," according to monthly data provided by the Office of Contracting and Procurement. Sources say about 40 of the OUC’s staff, including 911 call takers, were chosen to receive a massage based on the quality of their work. Nichole Jefferson, a D.C.-based massage therapist, was hired for the job.

"The purchases were part of OUC’s Employee Appreciation and Wellness Program activities that also included heath screenings, aerobics, and blood pressure and glucose checks," Mafara Hobson, Fenty’s spokeswoman, said in a statement. "While the intent of the wellness activities was well-intended, some were not an appropriate use of funds and will not ever be included in future activities."

Because to greedy democrat politicians its only play money! They have no regard for the tax payer
